Let’s Make Valentine Treat Bags Together!

Supply List:

There are three things I’m always looking for in my treat packaging projects – quick, easy, and cute! These Valentine Treat Bags hit the mark on all three of those criteria. All you will need to make this napkin craft are a few fun napkins, some drawstring treat bags, and Mod Podge. My theme for the month of February is “spread love” and I know you can easily spread some love by gifting these treat bags, and hoping they continue to get repurposed and passed on!

How to Create DIY Valentine Treat Bags

I am using 4×6 and 6×8 muslin drawstring bags to create these treat bags. Grab a piece of chipboard, cardstock, parchment paper, or anything you have, and place it on the inside to protect the other side of your bag from the Mod Podge.

I have a little Valentine Gnome napkin that I will cut down and transfer right onto the bag. Trim your napkin design, then use the “lick and stick” method to separate the layers of your napkin. Brush the Mod Podge Matte onto your bag. Place your napkin on the bag, place your plastic wrap over top, and smooth the napkin onto the bag. Let dry, and then add a thin top coat of Mod Podge Matte.

I will repeat this same technique for the rest of my napkins and treat bags! Just add Mod Podge Matte to the treat bag and apply the napkin art right to the fabric with another layer of Mod Podge over top.

The napkin art will have a satin finish to it, but that last coat of Mod Podge is really what will help it hold up over time. This way it can be regifted over and over again!

Embellishing Your Treat Bags

If there are some embellishments you would like to add, you can definitely hot glue some dimensional things. You can also add some sparkle! You can take some Stickles (glitter glue) and add some sparkle to some of your designs.

We want our treat packaging to be quick, easy, and cute, but if you have someone special you would like to gift to, feel free to put in that extra effort!

These are so cute and really fun! Spread the love this February, treat your loved ones with kindness, and encourage them to pass it on.

DIY Bunny Napkin Art

This Easter-themed craft is fun to create as an adult, or with your children or grandchildren for a holiday activity. Either way, this is very easy and great for all ages! Grab our bunny kit, which includes two wooden bunny heads and a full napkin with four images, and you can easily pull this together. (If you’re in my Napkin Club, you have this napkin!) I’ll show you step-by-step how to create this, how to add the embellishments, and how to decorate with these!

DIY Napkin Wall Art

If you’re looking to add something fun to your creative space, I highly suggest adding a slat wall. It’s so versatile and budget-friendly, and you can add all of the pegs and things for organizing your stash. This section of slat wall is 8×4, but they also make smaller sections as well.
